Be The Brand Attends NWPCA Annual Meeting

One of the most fun things about our work at Be the Brand Collective is the opportunity to learn about new industry and spaces that I wouldn't otherwise know much about.

Not only has it given me the opportunity to learn new things and meet amazing people, but also the chance to exercise one of our core values: curiosity.

In many ways, curiosity is a driving value behind how we service our clients, learn about them, their work and what matters to them so that we are able to produce the best content possible.

So imagine my excitement when I was asked travel to Napa with the National Wooden Pallet & Container Association (NWPCA) annual meeting.

During the Be the Brand LinkedIn for Business session several things stood out.

1. Professionals from all industries but especially those that work in manufacturing are using LinkedIn more and more. In fact, of all the industry represented on LinkedIn, Manufacturing is the second largest.

2. Everyone, from the small business owner, to the large multi-national company is thinking strategically about how to leverage LinkedIn as part of their integrated Marketing and Sales process. I even had an attendee say that their team tied EOY bonus structure to individual LinkedIn utilization!

3. Sales experts use their personal LinkedIn, not just for direct outreach and business development, but to build relationships, tell stories, gain credibility and influence. At our sessions, we had several sales experts and it was really cool to hear all the ways that they utilize LinkedIn to build their brand and drive sales.

Thank you to the team at NWPCA for inviting me to join you guys to talk about LinkedIn strategy. And to all the new friends made, I look forward to seeing you again soon!
